Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia. This therapeutic technique is especially beneficial for chronic aches and pains, as well as contracted areas such as a stiff neck, upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. Deep tissue massage works by breaking down adhesions, which can cause pain and inflammation, and helping to increase blood flow and reduce muscle tension. During the session, the massage therapist may use their fingers, thumbs, elbows, and even forearms to apply the necessary pressure. It's a process that requires clear communication between the client and therapist to ensure the pressure is both effective and comfortable. The result is a profound sense of relaxation, improved mobility, and a feeling of rejuvenation that can enhance overall well-being. 60 or 90 minute service.
